| Joiners who are flexible and versatile Joiners must be able to work with a wide variety of materials, such as wood, plastics and metals. Constructing a fair stand also involves the professional laying of carpeting and electrical installation within the stand, plus cleanup of the fair stand after completion and setup. Joiners will work not only in their workshop, but in the warehouse and at the major European fair sites. |

| HGV drivers who do more than just drive At MDS, the driver is responsible for logistics at the trade fair site. The driver ensures that the required materials are supplied on time, supervising not only the loading but also the transport to the fair stand location. Drivers also manage the storage of reusable items and the complete removal of stands following take-down. |

| Display designers with a sense of proportion Designers create the lettering, colour photo enlargements and digital prints. To do so, they have recourse to a lettering studio equipped with all possible technical equipment, where all lettering work is prepared for the individual trade fair projects. Designers are also responsible for individual decor elements on trade fair stands. Prerequisite skills include solid experience of computers and cutting plotters, plus the ability to cut by hand if the situation arises. Designers not only need to bring specialist knowledge of individual font typographies but also sufficient experience to cope with the partitioning of large-scale information panels. | |
| Commercial/advertising sales staff who know how to organise Sales, organisation and production planning are just three of the great many tasks handled by sales staff at MDS. | Interior architects/designers who can plan creatively This job encompasses the design of a trade fair stand that is both functional and strongly appealing – one that ideally presents the product while effectively implementing the exhibitor's corporate identity. Using the CAD computer, the architect works to fully realise the requirements profile from the customer's concept and local stand construction regulations using a wide variety of systems and materials. Candidates for this job profile must have the ability to grasp complex technical issues rapidly and have solid computer skills in e.g. AutoCAD 2004. |

| DTP specialists who know their data formats DTP specialists transform our customers' corporate image and advertising messages into expressive lettering on the trade fair stand. Using a variety of graphics programs, the huge variety of file formats we receive from our customers is then prepared for further processing – whether banner lettering, digital printing or colour enlargements, for example. Our specialists use their technical expertise to plan and execute the lettering, digital prints and large-format photos that are needed. | |
| Office staff with an eye for detail Our staff work with user-friendly computer programs to process quotations, order confirmations or invoices, plus all of the corresponding specifications and packing lists. Knowledge of the MS Excel and MS Word applications is an advantage. The greatest of care must be taken when producing these comprehensive working documents, since they simultaneously form the basis for all of our company-internal processes. |
